Police have launched an urgent hunt for a 12-year-old girl who went missing from her home on Wednesday night. 

Jessie West was last seen at her home in Tilbury, Essex in grey tracksuit bottoms and a matching top with tanned Uggs and a black puffa jacket. 

The 5ft 5ins tall youngster may also be wearing a Gucci ring and necklace. 

She was reported missing just before midnight on Wednesday and has not been seen since.     

Essex Police have posted on social media for people and get in touch with any information. 

Jessie is known to have friends in Thurrock, Enfield and Dagenham areas so residents there are asked to keep an eye out for her.

Police posted her photo on social media today and have asked anyone with information to call Grays police station on 101. 

Their statement said: 'We are appealing for help to find Jessie West, 12, who is missing from her home in Tilbury.'

'She has links to the Thurrock area, 온라인슬롯 Enfield and Dagenham.

'Anyone with information is asked to call Grays police station 101.

'Please always call 999 in an emergency.'

Many people on social media have shared the post to other residential pages and commented their support. 

'Hopefully she will be found safe and sound soon,' said Sally Jayasegaram. 

'That person who knows where she is you better get her to contact her family ASAP,' said George Mina.
