NHL roundup: Wild defeat Jets, point streak hits 11 games

The Minnesota Wild extended their point streak to 11 games as they defeated the host Winnipeg Jets 4-2 on Wednesday.

Minnesota got multi-point efforts from Marcus Foligno, who had a goal and an assist, and Oskar Sundqvist and Jake Middleton, who each registered a pair of helpers.

Frederick Gaudreau, Ryan Hartman and Mason Shaw also scored goals for the Wild, who are on a 9-0-2 surge.

Marc-Andre Fleury made 46 saves.

Logan Stanley and Nino Niederreiter tallied for Winnipeg, which fell to 2-7-2 in its past 11 games. Connor Hellebuyck stopped 19 shots.

Miller scored his second goal of the game 20 seconds into overtime to lift Vancouver to a win against visiting Anaheim.

Miller brought the puck into the Anaheim zone and scored with a wrist shot from the right circle in his 700th NHL game.

Andrei Kuzmenko also scored, Elias Pettersson had two assists, and Thatcher Demko made 20 saves for the Canucks, who matched their season high with their third straight win.

Troy Terry and Brock McGinn scored and Lukas Dostal made 31 saves for the Ducks, who are 4-1-2 in their past seven games.

Red Wings 4, Blackhawks 3

Dominik Kubalik scored the game-winning goal with 4:07 remaining to help Detroit end a six-game winless streak (0-5-1) by edging visiting Chicago.

Kubalik broke a 3-3 tie when he slapped a low shot from the right faceoff circle that got by Chicago goaltender Alex Stalock.

Jake Walman, Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond also scored for Detroit, and Ville Husso made 17 saves.

Taylor Raddysh scored two goals and Joey Anderson tallied as well for the Blackhawks, pokerwalet who were outshot 41-20. Stalock stopped 37 of 41 shots.
