Princess Diana's brother Earl Spencer blasts Donald Trump

Princess Diana's brother has blasted Donald Trump and said his sister found him 'worse than an anal fissure' after the former US president claimed she and the Queen 'kissed his a**' in a new book.

Charles Spencer, 58, also accused Trump of using Diana's name to 'sell some real estate', adding he was surprised to hear of his boasts about a number of celebrities and public figures.

He tweeted: 'Surprised to hear that Donald Trump is apparently claiming that my late sister Diana wanted to "kiss his a**e", since the one time she mentioned him to me - when he was using her good name to sell some real estate in New York - she clearly viewed him as worse than an anal fissure.'

The claim comes as the former US president is set to reveal 150 letters that were sent to him as part of his new book 'Letters to Trump' - due to be published next month.

Trump said: 'I think they're going to see a very fascinating life.

'I knew them all and every one of them kissed my a**, and now I only have half of them kissing my a**.'

The former President will include letters he received from royals such as Diana in the book, as well as former Presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton.

World leaders including North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, Russian President Vladimir Putin and former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro are also included.

In April last year, Trump claimed the Queen and Camilla were competing with each other for his attention at a royal banquet.

But he also spoke glowingly about the monarch, describing her as 'truly a legend'.

Speaking to Piers Morgan, he recalled: 'She [Camilla] was on my right, the Queen was on my left, and I said "Queen, I really have to talk to Camilla for a little while too".

We couldn't break apart.

'[Camilla] was funny, she was smart, she was quick, she was great. I like her too. I like Charles.'
